Bowery kids, street style stars, ska lovers, are you listening? Jared Leto has chopped off his signature long hair. Take a moment. Pause your iTunes and ask your noisy coworker to can it for a minute. Let’s mourn the loss of these shimmering locks together.
It figures as I am desperately trying to grow out my hair, my hair idol chops his off. This cut is deep.
Leto has become known for his bushy beard and long, flowing ombré locks. Well, ladies, gents and humans, those days are long gone. “Insert sad cat face emoji next to the monkey with his hands covering his mouth face ”.
Leto unveiled the chilling image below on Instagram, saying that both hair and beard are gone, thanks to his role as the Joker in the upcoming film Suicide Squad.
But don’t fret and run to the barber just yet. Men’s hair is still having a moment. During the showings of the Fall 2015 shows, male models stood proud with stringy beautiful pieces of hair slicked with enough oil to solve any creaking door crisis.
