A New Way To Wear An Old Knit Vest

The absolute best part of summer has to be the last week of August when you jump into the ocean and you release you’re not freezing because the water is warmer then it was in June and your lips aren’t blue. Another great moment of summer is leaving work to sunny skies, having happy hour outside and walking home as the sun turns building a golden yellow hue. Also feeling like a little kid again when you hear the whistle of an ice-cream truck. But perhaps the really amazing part of summer is dressing for the beach.

This summer one of my favorite things to wear was a stripped knit vest. Back in college I went through a terrible preppy moment and loved wearing vests over dress shirts. I know, I know, quite horrifying right? If you also went through this phase and have a draw filled with knit tanks, it’s not too late to salvage them at the beach this summer. Where they fail on the street they soar on the sand.
