Billy Reid stitched together a relaxed spring/ summer 2015 offering at NYFW that recalled warm-weathered ‘70s nights of strawberries, cherries and an angels kiss in spring. Beautiful silk-and-linen elongated blazers, baggy knitwear, slouchy trenchcoats and semi-slim striped trousers presented a casual outing for his man. pieces, particular a blue and white print bohemian tinged shirt, offered a refreshing sense of movement paired with flowy short shorts.  A slouchy white jacket was paired with a stripped button-up and drawstring shorts in the same hue to make three individually keen pieces look a bit more fashion-y. A navy leather shirt in a thick fabric—paired with a white shirt made delicate cotton and a floral cotton bomber—was the sort of thing that would work in just about any closet. It was all styled with footwear the nodded to chilling out – canvas shoes, brown leather loafers and crisp white kicks.
