Palm trees make everything better and plays a key role in stepping up my swimsuit game.

They say the most successful inventions are those that leave you wondering how you operated before them. Just think five years ago Instagram didn’t even exist. Street style photography was almost as rare as image sin National Geographic. The same rule applies to fashion. In particular, swimsuits.

Allow me to explain by demonstration.

After a week spent in the steamy city of Milan trotting around the men’s spring 2016 shows, I did like the Milanese and got out of the hot city for a little holiday. I headed south to the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Malta and dove head first into the pool. This was the first moment all summer that I had to stop, think and not think about what I was wearing. Having that perfect swimsuit packed away in your suitcase allows for such luxuries.
