Coat Check

 

 

I have been angry with retail stores stores for years. Their incessant need to rush seasons perpetuates our inability to live in the present; how am I supposed to embrace the moment when I am seeing those spring/ summer 2016 sandals I eyed back in June. It hasn’t even snowed yet in NYC and all fall and winter items are on sale, and in some stores om clearance. It’s stressful and anxiety inducing to say the least.

However, a recent self-made contradiction has forced me think think otherwise. We still have at least 3 months of winter, and I am in need of a couple of winter wardrobe essentials, so why not embrace this and go shopping.

Kitties, if you’re in the market for winter coats for men, knows your time to ponce.

I picked up this black-and-white herringbone coat by Sandro Paris. A little herringbone print goes a long way in adding a lot of vintage flare to any look. I feel good about my decision to accept theses early embraces of summer.

All shops want is for us to be prepared. Right?
