Fact: A bomber jacket is different from the rest. They’re smooth, cool and just plain badass. There is something special about them. To me they represent the perfect union of function and fashion. I have worn a bevy of bomber jackets this season from a silk Saint Laurent leopard number, to a floral Valentino bomber. Wearing a delicate silk bomber made me feel dressed up in a way, akin to a patterned suit and loafers. Which is great for when I was in the mood! But not for everyday.
But a green bomber jacket is one of the best investments you will make this summer. It’s durable, cool and looks good with everything. It’s also a travelers best friend. It keeps you warm on cool summer nights and can fold up and fit nicely in any travel bag. I wore it on a recent trip to Northern Italy and wore it while hiking, out to brunch and to cocktails. It is one of my favorite travel pieces for summer.
