Tropical Floral Attire In San Juan Puerto Rica

 

 

A couple of months ago I was lucky enough to escape yet another arctic blast and head to down to sunny San Juan, Puerto Rico. Fast forward to me arriving back in NYC four days later and I was flooding with number of distractions – unanswered emails, postponed projects that were finally bubbled to the surface, fashion week laundry and not to mention the too familiar cold, all got in the way of me editing my photos. However, listening to Lana Del Rey’s latest tune today, “West Coast” reminded me of my brief and darling escape. Lana always knows how to herald those warm, summer days. While there I choose light layers and heavy florals to complement the gorgeousness of the weather.  See how I cheated winter and jetted down to the St. Regis Bahia Beach‎ resort where I got to break in my tropical floral looks before spring as I discovered blue bricks, old forts, ships drawn on jail cell walls, calm waters and iguana crossings.
