Once the crown jewel of Medieval Europe, Liège situated in the valley of the Meuse River, is quite the chic little city. It has the best of both worlds: stylish new restaurants, vibrant 16th century stained-glass church windows, and boutiques sprinkled along Liège ‘s centuries-old cobblestoned streets.
