Sex does not equal love. Try to be friends. Don’t drunk dial. Don’t Insta-stalk. Maybe change your look. These are all things your loyal friends say to you after a breakup which you absolutely do not listen to. All except the last comment.

A breakup signifies a moment of total transformation. It’s a time where that quote from Eat, Pray, Love really hits the spot. “Ruin is the road to transformation.” While some of us can use a break up to emotionally grow, others who have a fully functioning brain, choose the road more traveled and refocus and update their look. So here are 4 things guy’s do to their look after a break up.

Experiment With Colored Hair 

If the relationship didn’t work, it clearly must have been do to that dull hair color you’ve been sporting lately, right? So why not add a pop of color. At least it will make your Tinder profile pic more memorable.

Wiz Khalifa debuted a head of purple dreadlocks on Instagram, two weeks after filing for divorce from the model Amber Rose.

 Wardrobe Upgrade

Harry Styles seriously stepped up his style game after his breakup with Taylor Swift. Although, I did wonder if he was a style icon, or snazzy Saint Laurent Wear? I guess now I would say style icon, or snazzy Gucci wearer. Hm. Either way men tend to hit the shops after going through the stress of a break up.

Tattoos

Breakups suck, and sometimes when we’re upset, we do things that are not so smart, that we will one day look back at and wonder, “What in God’s name was I thinking?!?” Getting inked after a breakup may be one of those things. I would consider this a Breakup No-No.

And Beards…

Some men seem to go on a shaving boycott after a breakup. No one has time to shave when they’re diving the deep depths of human emotion. The breakup beard is unkempt and baring a resemblance to that of Jon Snow’s.
