7 Songs That Make You Feel Hot

Happy Thursday! Here’s my compendium of tracks you need to listen to today to get your dander up. It’s spring after all. Time to shed those layers and start feeling sexy again. From Johnny Cash to Frank Ocean: the musicians who understand exactly how to make songs that make you feel hot and wonderfully bothered.

What is sexier then a song of vengeance? This comes from the Django Unchained soundtrack and is a this chilling tail of seeking righteous justice against villains.

Nothing The Beatles sing isn’t hot is one way or another. However this harsh song of working and shagging makes it one of my favorites.

Nobody nails how it feels for a man to give up the freedom he had in order to keep what he’s found like Cash does here.

Even though OI’ Blue Eyes actually hated this song himself, it’s one of my personal all time favorites. I mean come on, a track about audacity and contempt for your critics, amazing. Can this play on repeat every time I go back to High School please?

“You are my Ducati/ I’m all up your frame/ Baby say my name/ Show you how get em/ Show you how to do it/ Left hip, right hip/ Put your back into it.” Enough said.

It seems like it’s been ages since Frank Ocean’s album Orange took the music world by storm. This track pulls inspiration from the juxtaposition of two of my favorite L words – luxury and love. It’s a song about staying true to yourself while taking a dive into the abyss. Tying something new is always hot.

For me, any Ella Fitzgerald song has the power to make you feel everything. She bares her soul and exposes her flaws in every melody she sang. I did name my dog after her.
