Another before and after coming your way! This one is one of my favorite rooms in the home, the bedroom.

Did you know on average we spend 8 hours a day sleeping (Or lying in bed on our phones desperately trying to sleep)? That means that an average person will spend approximately  229,961 hours (basically over one third of their lifetime) in their bedroom. That is a huge amount of time we spend in our bedroom. Over the years my bedroom has become a sort of unorganized space where I keep packages and stacks of clothing.

It was so important for me to create a space in my new home that was peaceful and serene. To start I kept all my bedroom furniture from my apartment that I got at Bed Bath & Beyond. We completely tore down the paneling and drop ceilings. We demoed the closed and made it smelled to be sure our king sized bed didn't consume the room. We installed recessed lighting to allow the prefect flooding of light. I wanted everything to be calm, so for paint I bitterly selected Benjamin Moore "calm" - a super light tan shade.

For the bed lines we selected Josephine Home's DRAPER London bedding. These linens are life changing. They are the softest sheets I have ever experienced. The sheets are 300 thread count 100% Egyptian Cotton percale cotton, and is delightfully cool and crisp. I selected white with a bold pink outline. I LOVE how the pink adds a subtle pop and perfectly matches the pink art on the wall and the pink in the Versace pillow. I wanted to room to be neutral but have a hint of color. If you are looking to add a subtle touch to your bedroom and want to sleep on clouds, check out theJosephine Home's DRAPER London line up and use code "Gregory" for 20% off your order of $200 or more. You will never sleep the same again.

I styled the room with pillows from Anthropologie and Versace and custom frame from Framebridge and art from Nest Catskills and Sara Sidari.
